Drought-resistant
The Wife is moderately drought-resistant and will perform better in hot climates.
High CBD Ratios
In Delta-9 states, The Wife boasts up to 16% CBD content; even in total-THC states, you can expect a 30:1 ratio of CBD to THC. Our hemp clones are produced from stable mother stock, offering consistent CBD production among your plants. If you’re looking for a hemp plant to produce high CBD content without going hot, The Wife is an excellent choice.
Dense, Thick Colas
The colas on this plant are large and dense, offering high yields. This cultivar is a balanced blend of Indica and Sativa with rich buds and cherry flavor. The plant has sufficient structure to support itself while being large and high-yielding.
Pest Resistant
One of the best benefits of The Wife is its pest resistance. While other cultivars may suffer serious damage from worms, aphids, and mites, this variety withstands pests and incurs little damage from worms during the flower cycle. That puts The Wife a cut above the rest, as any damage from pests cuts into harvestable product.
Indoor or Outdoor production
The Wife does well produced indoors or outdoors. It needs fewer than 12 hours of daylight to flower. For this larger cultivar, we’ve had great success planting our hemp clones 4-5’ on center and topping it early in the year. This promotes maximum yield per acre.
CBD oil and Smokeable Flower
This plant offers a pretty lime green bud and an excellent terpene profile. It’s a great choice for producing CBD oil and smokeable flower. The Wife’s terpene profile includes Limonene, which helps dilate bronchial tubes; Pinene, which helps dilate bronchial tubes and reduces inflammation; Caryophyllene, which dilates bronchial tubes, reduces inflammation, and acts as an anti-fungal and anti-septic.
